中学生の時に「ビートルズ」「グランドファンクレイルロード」「吉田拓郎」などの影響で音楽活動を始める。
高校時代には京都会館でのロックコンサート「音の展覧会」をはじめ各ホールでの音楽イベントを多数企画＆出演。
関西圏TV局（毎日、朝日）に出演、近畿放送(現KBS)ラジオをはじめ数多くのプロミュージシャン達と共演。
高校時代からセミプロ活動を始めるが、何とか高校卒業。その後本格的に音楽活動を開始し、有名ミュージシャンの前座や共演を務める。
21歳でバンド解散後、幼少の頃から携わっていた表具の世界へと、父(故田中武夫)を師事し数多くの古美術品、寺院の大幅仏画や屏風などの修理修復を手掛ける。
趣味に音楽活動(作曲、作詞、バンド、ライヴハウス経営)や過去にはラジオ番組パーソナリティーを約5年間務めた。
地域の活動として休日スポーツクラブ代表や学校評議員などを務めている。
2014年に「近畿経済産業局」からの要請でパリへ同行し「フランスの日本大使館」「JETROパリ支局」を訪問。
その後、パリをはじめとする海外販路拡大展開を始める。

YOSHISHIGE TANAKA started music activities when he was a junior high school student.
He planned many music events in high school.
He has appeared a lot on TV and radio.
He stopped playing music at the age of 21.
Takeo’s apprentice Yoshishige Tanaka later became Kouseidou's second-generation proprietor.
In addition to taking on a large number of projects involving tasks such as the mounting of large works of art, Yoshishige also added to Kouseidou's repertoire of services by studying the cleaning of Honshi(art drawn on paper). During his time, he oversaw the cleaning and restoration of many paintings and works of calligraphy.
Koseido’s second generation, Yoshishige Tanaka works with the technique calld “Hyogu” which is to glue together many layers of washi paper.
He applies his extensive experiences in restoring cultural properties such as antique artworks, Buddhist temple paintings and other assets.
While dedicating his daily efforts to the preservation of a100 year-old arts and crafts, he also applies his skills to decorative products that suit today’s living environments,rather than persiting in traditions.

大学を卒業後「公認会計士」を目指し専門学校に通うが愛車バイクHONDA 1800ccで10ｔトラックとの事故で入院。快復後「表具業」に従事し現在に至る。

Kentaroh Tanaka apprenticed under Yoshishige, learning the techniques of art cleaning and restoration before becoming Kouseidou's third-generation proprietor. Today, Kentarou is devoted to the craft of repairing antiques.
